Because Harris-Walz respects the rule of law—the very foundation of a democratic civilization
An election is a competition, like a footrace or chess match, except infinitely more consequential. All participants must follow the same established rules so that they begin with identical chances of winning. Thus the competition’s outcome reflects nothing but the difference between the competitors’ performances.
Trump has already proven he’s willing to cheat—in golf or in an election—in order to be declared the victor. Imagine a World Series in which the losing team insists it actually triumphed and encourages its fans to vandalize the stadium until it is handed the pennant. That team never would be allowed to play again—good riddance to bad sportsmanship! Having cheated once without remorse, the team likely would do so again, given the chance.
In fact, imagine that your own child had grown (though not matured) into someone interested only in self-glorification—a man who has been documented routinely to lie, commit fraud, stiff workers, grope women, break promises, separate families, bully the weak—yet has the gall to call himself a Christian. Wouldn’t you be ashamed to admit parenthood?
What employer would hire such a person even to sort garbage? How ridiculous that any American would consider “hiring” him to lead our country!
(To the tune of the last half of “God Bless America”)
Trump incited,
Got indicted
’Cause he tried to overstay.
DON’T let him try again;
Vote him away!
He disobeyed the law—
Lock him AWAY!
